What We Do

The mission of the FMD is to promote a safe, comfortable, adaptable, attractive and sustainable work environment that enhances space utilization at the Jamie L. Whitten Building, Agriculture South Building and the George Washing Carver Center by providing services valued by our customers, while protecting and preserving the integrity of these cultural resources through responsible stewardship and asset management. Oversight extends to leased facilities in the National Capital Region. FMD provides oversight in all areas of Space and Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance, Architecture and Engineering, and Repair and Alterations.
