Strategic Planning
The Strategic Planning team is responsible for the development and maintenance of the USDA IT strategic Plan and ensuring the plan is in continuous alignment with the USDA Strategic Plan. The team provides consulting and guidance on IT strategy development across the enterprise. A key focus is on identifying initiatives with high potential for success to drive achievement of strategic business outcomes.
Electronic Government
The general E-government (EGOV) program consists of the three components: Initiatives, Lines of Business (LoB), and Shared Services. USDA participates in 23 Presidential EGOV Initiatives and LoBs, the USDA has improved its business processes and program delivery to its customers, employees, and partners.
Audit
The objective of the OCIO Internal Controls program is to assist in safeguarding assets and in preventing and detecting errors and fraud. On this site visitors will find information on the OCIO Internal Controls program relevant authorities and component Internal Control contacts.
