In recognition of National Hispanic Heritage Month, Nutrition.gov announces its enhanced “En Español” website, making it easier to navigate and find credible nutrition resources in Spanish. Forty web pages were translated into Spanish. Now Spanish-speaking users and nutrition professionals in need of Spanish resources can browse a wide array of translated information on nutrition topics such as infant and toddler nutrition and nutrition as it relates to diabetes, heart health and obesity.

What else is new? Now when you click “En Español,” you can browse topics using an expanded Spanish menu and can easily toggle back and forth between Spanish and English. Also, you can find a translated Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section, which provides quick answers to questions like “Where can I find a chart or list of foods with calcium?” While browsing the Spanish section of Nutrition.gov, links will direct you to the Spanish content of other websites whenever available.

Nutrition.gov is a USDA-sponsored website that offers credible information to help consumers make healthful eating choices. Now with a wider variety of content in Spanish, you have reliable information on nutrition, healthy eating, physical activity and food safety at your fingertips.
