Spending Transparency: Award Terminations

Executive Order

In accordance with Executive Order “Radical Transparency About Wasteful Spending", executive departments and agencies are directed to take appropriate actions to publicly disclose, to the maximum extent permitted by law, the complete details of any terminated programs, canceled contracts, terminated grants, or other discontinued federal obligations. Agencies will ensure that these disclosures are made in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and the specific terms and conditions of each contract, grant, or award. This effort aims to promote transparency and accountability in the use of federal funds.

Terminated USDA Contracts

Since January 21, 2025, USDA has terminated the following contracts for the convenience of the government.

This list is updated weekly.  To obtain additional information about each contract in the list, please visit the SAM.gov “Data Bank” tab.  For basic contract information, the “Standard” reports are recommended, specifically “Contract Detail.”  SAM.gov provides access to 40 standard contract data reports or you can build your own custom report using the “Ad Hoc” reports option.  Please note that you will need to create a Login.gov username and password to use SAM.gov.
