Food Loss and Waste Successes from the U.S. and Canada

USDA and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations’ North America Liaison Office co-hosted a virtual roundtable session to showcase “Food Loss and Waste Successes from the U.S. and Canada.” Speakers shared their experiences of increasing sustainable food management in Baltimore, Denver, Vancouver, British Columbia, and Guelph, Ontario.

Food Loss and Waste Activities from Around the World

USDA where speakers shared their work and experiences with national and municipal level governments to reduce food waste and increase food recycling in Denmark, South Korea, Rwanda, Chile, Peru, and the United States. The event was moderated by Dr. Jean C. Buzby, USDA Food Loss and Waste Liaison.
