Michael J. Jackson


Michael J. Jackson is the Director of the National Finance Center.

Mr. Jackson holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and a master’s degree in social work, both from the Southern University System. Michael has over 26 years of federal experience which began in 1996 as a GS-4 clerk in the Human Resources Department at the New Orleans Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center. After graduating with his master’s degree, he served as an outpatient social worker, helping transition combat veterans back to civilian life. He also served in the Human Resources Department at the VA as an employee relations specialist. Subsequently, he was promoted to the position of customer service coordinator for the VA’s Surgery Department.
