Chair Fittings
Once your request for a customized ergonomic chair has been determined as a necessity beyond standard ergonomic recommendations, a direct referral or request from your supervisor is mandatory. Additionally, if applicable, an acknowledgment from the Reasonable Accommodations POC can be included.
Please note that the cost of the ergonomic chair will vary depending on your selection. The USDA TARGET Center collaborates with third-party vendors to manage pricing details, product recommendations, and procurement processes. The USDA TARGET Center does not endorse any specific vendors or products.
Next Steps
- Schedule an ergonomic evaluation through the TARGET Center to determine the availability of the vendor and accessibility of the TARGET Center.
- The Program Manager will arrange for the upcoming chair fitting event. The Program Manager will follow up with both the vendor and customer to ensure that the chair has been processed and received. We look forward to assisting you in creating a more comfortable and productive workspace.
