Kevin Wittenberger
Kevin Wittenberger is a commodity analyst working on the Interagency Commodity Estimates Committees for wheat and rice at the World Agricultural Outlook Board in the USDA’s Office of the Chief Economist. Prior to his position at the Board, he served for ten years as a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. State Department with postings in the Agricultural Policy Office, the Visa Policy Office, the India Desk, Honduras, and the Philippines. In addition, he has experience as an economist with the Economic Research Service working as an oil crops analyst and as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Bangladesh. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Wheaton College and a master’s degree in agricultural economics from Iowa State University.
