Transitioning of MAX.gov Shared Services to USDA

Why USDA?

To ensure MAX Partners had multiple transition options to consider, OMB, FEMA, Budget Line of Business (BLoB) and ONDCP invested in a three-month U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) discovery initiative which concluded in December of 2022. The outcome of the initiative demonstrated USDA’s ability to provide continuity of operations, continued use of Max Authentication, scalability and keeping cost increases to a minimum.

WHO

FEMA, along with BLoB and their 26 partner agencies, are currently scheduled for migration, June 5th and August 7th, respectively.
