Over 50 biofuel stakeholders and agricultural leaders participated in Pennsylvania’s Biofuels Forum on October 27th.

The focus of the group discussion, held at the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture in Harrisburg, was the USDA Biofuels Strategic Production Report released June 23, 2010. The dialogue outlined the hurdles that Pennsylvania needs to overcome to have a successful biofuels market—including the need for producer, retailer and consumer biofuels education.

With an abundance of land and an existing infrastructure that expands into other states, Pennsylvania offers a substantial contribution to meeting the renewable fuels standard by 2022.
