Samuel Marquez
Samuel Marquez serves as the Director of Intergovernmental Affairs at U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
He previously served as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Rural Housing Service (RHS) within USDA Rural Development and Deputy Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration. Prior to his service in the Biden-Harris Administration he held several roles at the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) Educational Fund, the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC) and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce. Samuel is originally from the Los Angeles, CA region, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside.
