Michael Dykes

Michael A. Dykes serves as the Director for DRMD within OASCR. In this capacity, he oversees all OASCR’s management systems including the USDA Civil Rights Management System (CRMS), manages OASCR’s Information Technology (IT) assets, oversight of OASCR’s Records Management program and enforces various IT mandates in support of USDA’s e-Government mission.

Additionally, Michael is responsible for safeguarding and managing the Department’s Employment and Program complaints electronic and non-electronic files. He also supervises OASCR’s Information Research Services, which is responsible for responding to telephone and mail inquiries world-wide. This unit handles over 6000 employment and USDA program complaint inquiries annually.

Michael attended college and graduate school in the New York Metropolitan area. He completed several professional certifications including the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. As a visionary and pragmatic leader, his priority is to provide real time support to USDA customers and employees, and IT support to OASCR staff offices in furtherance of USDA's mission.
