Scott Davis
These services include directing the Department’s personal and real property portfolio, motor vehicle inventory, and sustainability program. Previously, as Acting Deputy director for the Office of Facilities and Environmental Quality at the Department of Commerce, Mr. Davis provided executive leadership for property, fleet, energy/environmental, building management and renovation programs, in addition to directing services provided to manage the Department of Commerce’s Herbert C. Hoover Building. These services included mail, custodial, cafeteria, printing/graphic design, space coordination, and the building renovation project. Prior to this role, Mr. Davis was the Director of the Office of Personal Property and Transportation Management at the Department of Commerce, overseeing the disposition of over 500K of assets, including high value items such as National Weather Service satellites. He also served as the national fleet manager and senior program manager in the areas of personal and real property management for the US Department of the Interior.
Mr. Davis joined the federal government through the prestigious Presidential Management Fellowship program. Mr. Davis received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government/Political Science from Lehigh University. He also earned a Master of Arts in Public Administration degree from North Carolina State University. He is a certified project management professional (PMP) and holds a Master’s certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. Mr. Davis is a native Washingtonian and enjoys coaching youth league sports.
