We are grateful to report that all staff members -- one from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and two from the House Agriculture Committee -- have been examined, treated, and discharged from El Campo Memorial Hospital following a car accident this afternoon. The doctors, nurses, and staff provided exemplary care. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue and Committee Chairman K. Michael Conaway, who were riding in a separate vehicle at the time of the accident, wish to express their thanks to the many people who extended their prayers and well wishes to all those involved in the accident.
