Come join USDA at the nation’s largest celebration of science, technology, engineering & mathematics.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is a proud partner of the 5th USA Science & Engineering Festival (USASEF). USDA will be among more than 750 of the world's leading professional scientific and engineering societies, universities, government agencies, and high-tech corporations that participate in this interactive, hands-on celebration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

This FREE two-day expo, which will take place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on April 7-8, 2018, is perfect for children, teens, families, and anyone with a curious mind who is looking for a weekend of fun and discovery. Admission is free, with registration required online at: bit.ly/usaRegister.

The theme of the festival is “See Where STEM Can Take You,” and it is attended by over 350,000 K-12 students, parents, teachers, and professionals.

About the USASEF

The USA Science & Engineering Festival (USASEF) is the country’s only national science festival, and was catalyzed by Science Spark, a nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization, in collaboration with more than 750 of the nation’s leading science and engineering organizations. In an era when the United States is losing ground as the world leader in STEM and fewer students than ever are pursuing careers in these fields, the Festival founders saw a crucial need to increase public awareness of the importance of science and to encourage youth to pursue careers in science and engineering by celebrating science in much the same way as we celebrate Hollywood celebrities, professional athletes and pop stars.
