L'Tonya Davis


Since March 2023, L’Tonya Davis has served as the first permanent Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer at the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Prior to joining USDA, Ms. Davis was the director of the Office of Communications and Project Management in the FDA’s Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA) serving as the ORA’s official executive champion for diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility (DEIA). In her current role, she leads USDA in the ongoing efforts to advance and institutionalize its DEIA goals outlined in the Department’s first-ever DEIA Strategic Plan.
